Purpose/Mission of the contest
An opportunity for kids to create original art, and to be empowered to share their own work and creativity with others.

Features: cultural performances, toy drive with Santa, children's activities
Eligibility & Rules
Eligibility Requirements:
Open to all students grades 3-12 in San Francisco
One submission per student
Grade Divisions:
Division A: Grades 3-5
Division B: Grades 6-8
Division C: Grades 9-12
Artwork Requirements:
Theme: What holiday means to you
Must be original (no copying, AI-generated art, or traced images)
Size: 8x11 paper or canvas
Accepted Mediums:
Drawing: pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, ink, pastel, marker
Painting: watercolor, acrylic, tempera, oil, gouache, mixed media
Required Information (on back of artwork):
Student's full name
Grade level
School name (or Homeschool)
Artwork title
Parent/guardian email and phone number

Participants will be notified via email by 11/28 if they are to receive an award. A parent/guardian consent form will need to be completed in order to showcase your artwork at the SF Chinatown Winter Wonderland event.
Judging Criteria
Panel composition (qualified judges)
Entries will be judged on creativity and originality; artistic skill; interpretation of theme, and presentation.
Permissions & Rights
Right to display, reproduce, and publish artwork with artist credit
Artwork remains student's property unless donated
Parent/guardian consent requirement for winners to be exhibited.
